Copyright Notice
Authors Retain Copyright
Authors retain copyright in their work while granting JIEDI the right of first publication and the right to distribute the published article.
Copyright Ownership
Authors who publish with the Journal of Inclusive Education and Digital Innovation (JIEDI) retain copyright in their articles. Copyright is not transferred exclusively to the journal or publisher.
By submitting and publishing an article in JIEDI, the authors grant the journal a non-exclusive licence to publish, reproduce, distribute, display, preserve, index, and make the article publicly available in electronic and other formats.
Right of First Publication
Authors grant JIEDI the right of first publication. The official published version will identify JIEDI as the original publisher and include complete bibliographic information, publication metadata, and the applicable open-access licence.
Conditions of Reuse
Author Distribution and Archiving Rights
Authors may enter into additional non-exclusive arrangements for the distribution of the published version of their articles, provided that the original publication in JIEDI is acknowledged.
Authors may deposit the submitted manuscript, accepted manuscript, and published version in institutional repositories, subject repositories, personal websites, academic networks, learning management systems, and other lawful platforms without an embargo period.
Author Declaration and Warranties
By submitting a manuscript to JIEDI, the authors declare that:
- The manuscript is original and does not unlawfully infringe the copyright, privacy, or other rights of any person or organisation.
- The manuscript has not been published previously in substantially the same form and is not simultaneously under consideration by another journal.
- All authors have approved the submitted and published versions of the article.
- All sources, data, quotations, images, tables, and other materials have been appropriately acknowledged.
- Necessary permissions have been obtained for copyrighted materials belonging to third parties.
Third-Party Materials
The CC BY 4.0 licence applies only to material for which the authors hold copyright or have the authority to license. Images, datasets, instruments, tables, or other third-party materials may be subject to separate copyright conditions. Such materials must be clearly identified, and users are responsible for obtaining any additional permission required for reuse.
Responsible Use
Reuse must not misrepresent the original authors, distort the findings, imply endorsement by the authors or JIEDI, or violate applicable ethical, privacy, confidentiality, or legal requirements. Proper academic citation remains mandatory even where reuse is permitted by the licence.
