Open Access Policy

ECFi: Journal of Economics and Islamic Finance provides immediate open access to all published content based on the principle that making scholarly research freely available to the public promotes wider dissemination and a greater global exchange of knowledge.

All articles published in ECFi are freely accessible to readers worldwide without subscription fees or other access barriers. Readers are permitted to:

• read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full text of published articles;
• use, reproduce, and adapt the articles for any lawful purpose; and
• access and use the articles without obtaining prior permission from the publisher or authors, provided that appropriate acknowledgement is given.

This policy is consistent with the definition of open access established by the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI).

All articles published in ECFi are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Licence (CC BY 4.0). This licence permits unrestricted use, sharing, distribution, reproduction, and adaptation in any medium or format, including for commercial purposes, provided that the original author or authors and the source are properly credited, a link to the licence is included, and any changes made to the original work are clearly indicated.
