About the Journal
ECFi: Journal of Economics and Islamic Finance (p-ISSN: 3123-6375; e-ISSN: 3123-5875) is a double-blind peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research in Islamic economics, finance, and business. Its scope includes, but is not limited to, Islamic economics; Islamic banking and financial institutions; Islamic capital markets; Islamic social finance; Sharia accounting and management; the halal industry; Islamic entrepreneurship; Islamic financial technology; Sharia governance and compliance; Islamic economic policy; sustainable economic development; and other contemporary issues relating to Islamic economics and finance.
Published by VAA Publishing, ECFi is issued biannually in June and December. The journal accepts original research articles, review articles, case studies, and conceptual papers. All submissions undergo an initial editorial screening and a double-blind peer-review process to ensure originality, methodological rigour, academic relevance, and conformity with the journal’s aims and scope.
