ECFi utilises the LOCKSS system to establish a distributed digital archiving network among participating libraries. The programme enables participating institutions to collect, preserve, and provide access to permanent copies of the journal’s published content for restoration and long-term preservation.

PKP Preservation Network
OJS PRESERVATION

ECFi also uses the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), which provides digital preservation services for journals managed through Open Journal Systems. PKP PN securely preserves eligible journal content and helps ensure continued access following data loss, system failure, or discontinuation of the journal website.
