Under this licence, authors retain the copyright to their work and grant ECFi the right of first publication. Published works may be shared, copied, redistributed, adapted, transformed, and built upon for any purpose, including commercial purposes, provided that the applicable attribution requirements are fulfilled.

Authors may enter into additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal’s published version of their work. This includes depositing the article in an institutional repository or republishing it as part of a book, provided that its initial publication in ECFi is properly acknowledged.
