Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat Vidya Alvira (JPMVA) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by Yayasan Vidya Alvira Aisqarni. The journal is dedicated to the publication of high-quality manuscripts derived from community service activities, social empowerment, and the application of research-based innovations. JPMVA serves as a bridge between academic discourse and practical implementation, aiming to provide sustainable solutions to societal challenges. The journal is published twice a year (bi-annually).

Focus and Scope

JPMVA is a multidisciplinary publication that accepts manuscripts from various social life aspects. In the field of health and well-being, the journal focuses on health education, disease prevention, nutritional counseling, and pharmaceutical innovations in the community. Within the education and literacy sector, JPMVA accommodates the development of innovative learning methods, teacher training programs, literacy movements, and inclusive education practices. Furthermore, the journal pays significant attention to the empowerment of creative economies and SMEs through local economic development, digital marketing assistance, and entrepreneurship growth. The scope also includes the implementation of appropriate technology (TTG) designed to enhance work efficiency in both rural and urban areas. Additionally, JPMVA supports publications related to environmental preservation and disaster mitigation, such as waste management, reforestation, disaster responsiveness education, and climate resilience. Lastly, the journal accommodates manuscripts discussing social, legal, and cultural dynamics, including legal advocacy, the preservation of local cultural heritage, and social conflict resolution.

Archiving System

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and CLOCKSS (Controlled Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) systems to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. This ensures that the digital content of JPMVA remains accessible and preserved for the long term.
